CHARLOTTE, N.C. — It's been two years since Rev. Billy Graham died at the age of 99.

Even though a prayer event scheduled by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association was cancelled due to weather conditions and safety concerns, many people, including his family, are still remembering his impactful life.

On Friday Graham's grandson Roy Graham said, instead of sadness, the family is celebrating, as they know Billy Graham is right where he always wanted to be.

"He gave his life to Christ when he was a young man down here in North Carolina, here in a field not far from here,” Roy Graham said. “And he gave his life to Christ that night. And the night he did that, he marked his place for eternity."

The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association continues his ministry not just at the Billy Graham Library, but through Samaritian's Purse, the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team, and a number of other programs through the association.
