DURHAM, N.C. — Low income and affordable housing units in the Triangle have been stealing headlines in recent weeks after dozens of people were forced out of their homes due to high levels of carbon monoxide at the McDougald Terrace apartments.

For many who are homeless or who have limited income, finding affordable housing is difficult. That’s why the non-profit, Housing for New Hope, works to help individuals and families find and maintain quality housing. However, they can’t make that happen without the public’s help, so they’ve launched a campaign to end homelessness.

Spectrum News anchor Caroline Blair goes In Depth for a look at how they’re working to help people in Durham get back on their feet.
