CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Carowinds' roller coaster Copperhead Strike has been nominated for the "Best New Theme Park Attraction in USA" Today’s 10Best Reader’s Choice travel awards, according to a Carowinds news release.

The statement says anyone can vote once a day until December 30 for Copperhead Strike, which is among 20 finalists.

The winners will be announced on January 10, according to the release.
