NORTH CAROLINA — As Hurricane Dorian makes its way up the coast, a number of warnings and watches have been issued.



There were tornado warnings from 6:17 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. in Craven and Pitt counties. There were no immediate reports of damage.

Tornado warnings were in effect during parts of the 5 p.m. hour in Craven, Jones and Pitt counties.

During the 4 p.m. hour, tornado warnings were issued at various times for Johnson, Jones, Onslow, Carteret, Craven, Cumberland and Wilson counties. The warnings have expired.

There were no immediate reports of damage from those areas.
