CHAROTTE, N.C. -- Hornets fans, this offseason has been a rough one but the team is giving you a reason to think back to the glory days.
The team unveiled a purple throwback jersey Tuesday. This jersey is part of the 25th anniversary celebration for the franchise this season.
It's the same design the team wore during the 94-95 season, similar to the teal and white throwbacks worn in recent seasons.
Players will wear these jerseys for five home games this year, debuting on November 9 against the New Orleans Pelicans.
It likely won't be on sale until after the start of the regular season.
