CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A heartwarming story out of a Charlotte High School is warming hearts across the state.
Students from South Mecklenburg High School elected Blake Rice, a student with autism, as their new Homecoming King.
Rice's dad responded to the video saying, "I wanted to reach out and thank you for allowing Blake to have a very special night last Friday, and I wanted to thank you all for making me proud to teach at South Meck every single day."
