CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- More than 150,000 basketball fans are expected in the Charlotte area this week for NBA All Star festivities.

The city is planning to handle the influx of visitors for the big event.

The DOT is putting its construction projects on I-77 and 277 on hold but work on I-85 will go on as planned.

One of the events that's happening is Black Food Truck Friday.

Twenty-five trucks will showcase their cuisine for nearly 15,000 people.

Business owners say this is a great way for them to get exposure on the local, and even national, level.

The weekend's festivities kick off Friday, Feburary 15. The game itself is on Sunday, February 17.
