CHARLOTTE, NC -- If you see a benevolent brigade dressed in blue in Uptown Charlotte, stop and say hello because they're there to help!

They're the Charlotte Center City Partners' Ambassadors.

They started trotting about town in November 2018, so this is the first full year they’re set to serve as a concierge service in Uptown.

They don’t just offer directions; Ambassadors also look for the city’s most vulnerable to connect people living on the street to shelters.

"Neighbors in crisis, who are maybe disconnected to professional services that can provide that real change,” says Kyle Bridges, a director for the program.

If you’ve had an Ambassador encounter, you’re asked to share your experience at info@charlottecentercity.org.
