CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Local craft beer on-demand is the concept behind Charlotte-based Knock Twice Delivery.

  • Customers can buy as many 32-ounce crowlers as they want, and have them delivered within a one-hour window of hitting “send” on the order.
  • Owners say what sets them apart from other services like Postmates and Instacart is smaller breweries aren’t distributing yet.
  • Knock Twice Delivery’s next steps are getting more breweries on board, and continuing to offer specials to apartment complexes they’ve partnered with.

John Fioravanti, the man behind the brand, says he’s partnered with Divine Barrel and Pilot Brewing so far. Customers can buy as many 32-ounce crowlers (a growler is 64 ounces) as they want, and have them delivered within a one-hour window of hitting “send” on the order. Once at your door, show your ID, and you’re on your way to beer nirvana.

Fioravanti said what sets them apart from other services like Postmates and Instacart is smaller breweries aren’t distributing yet, giving you a unique choice of beers you can’t find unless you’re in the tap room.

“With our $2.99 delivery fee and $12 for crowlers, what we found is people want variety of craft beers, we are constantly looking at adding new breweries to the list, new beers to the list. We’re really in a proof of concept phase, but i think we will start to see some traction in the new year,” said Fioravanti.
