Monday was a fantastic day around the region with sunshine and pleasant temperatures. Many of our highs made it well into the 60s with upper 50s for northern areas.

Another nice day is unfolding today. We will continue to have sun through the day, but temperatures will be just a touch cooler than yesterday.

Clouds will increase as Wednesday rolls along and our next storm system approaches. That system will then bring another significant round of rain to the region Thursday.

Rain could be heavy at times later Thursday and Thursday night, and some thunderstorms could also be involved.

Shower chances will linger for Friday. All totaled, many areas could again see at least 1-2" of rain...so another soaker.

That system departs in time for a nice weekend with plenty of sun. And as of now, the quiet weather looks to stick around through Christmas, which, hard to believe as it may be, is one week from today.
