WILMINGTON, N.C. -- The final phase of the big storm system that has been impacting the Carolinas is moving through today and tonight. Here in our area, the result is a chilly, rainy day. Those rain chances will then continue through tonight.

  • As some colder air aloft moves in, some areas could see a little snow or sleet
  • Sunshine will build in tomorrow afternoon
  • Conditions remain chilly over the next few days

As some colder air aloft moves in, some areas could see a little snow or sleet, but I do not anticipate any significant accumulations.

Sunshine will build in tomorrow afternoon, and then we will likely have plenty of sun Wednesday and Thursday.

Conditions remain chilly over the next few days but it looks much warmer by Thursday.

Our next big storm system will then arrive and bring good rain chances Friday into Saturday.
