CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Carolina Panthers could be getting a new practice facility -- south of the border.

The team's radio announcer dropped a hint about a practice stadium coming to South Carolina next summer.

Head coach Ron Rivera addressed the rumor, saying, "I do know that we have plans in terms of what the building's going to look like we hope. I know we have talked about that. I know Mr. Tepper also has talked about some different areas. But until he comes out and talks about it specifically I'd be remissed to say that one way or the other. But I do know that having the facility would be very beneficial to both North and South Carolina,” said Rivera.

The idea of a new practice facility coming to South Carolina is all speculation at this point.
