MECKLENBURG COUNTY, N.C. -- Police are looking for the man who impersonated a utility worker to rob a woman in Matthews.

They say a man knocked on the door of a house on Evian Lane, Saturday morning saying he was from the gas company. The victim says he forced his way inside, and stole items.

Police say the suspect was driving a mini-van. It’s possibly a Dodge or Chrysler. He was wearing a hat and dark grayish-green work-style clothing.

No one was hurt. If you've seen him, call police.
