STANLY COUNTY, N.C. -- A man is charged with murdering two people and injuring another Monday morning.

The Stanly County Sheriff's Office says 38-year-old Cindy Capel and 56-year-old James Edward were killed. Another person was shot in the arm and taken to the hospital. They're now in stable condition.

33-year-old Meeko Harris was found and arrested in Anson County later in the evening.

Officials haven't said what led up to the incident.
