ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. -- Deputies in Rowan County are looking for suspects after a bizarre case of vandalism at a Kannapolis church.

  • Unity United Methodist Church's pastor says he found vandalism at the church.
  • He said someone defecated in his office chair.
  • Anyone who has information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-866-639-5245. 

The pastor at Unity United Methodist Church called authorities Tuesday after he arrived to find the damage.

He said someone had poured grape juice all over his office desk and defecated in his office chair.   

There was also fire extinguisher powder all over parts of the building and explicit language written on a board inside a classroom.

The only things believed to have been stolen were a modem and some security lights and cameras.
