A deal signed Monday made HAECO Cabin Solutions a supplier for the international carrier.

One SVP for Airbus said they were impressed with the innovative designs of the seats. He anticipates immediate benefits for the area.

"Automatically, production rates will go up and then it will increase basically the number of employees. Or at least secure the number of employees," Joert Schuler said.

Wallburg Mayor Allen Todd agreed. He saw the deal as a step towards joining the global economy.

"It's about being worldwide," Todd said. "We are a small community, but our town needs businesses that are positive influences on our community. Businesses that help increase the quality of lifestyle of our citizens."

The exact economic impact won't be known until orders are put in and production begins.
