CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A small fire broke out at the Dog'ems bumper car ride at Carowinds on Monday.

The fire broke out around 12:30 p.m. when one of the bumper car vehicles erupted into flames.

No injuries were reported and the passenger had already left the car.

The fire was immediately extinguished by a ride attendant.

The ride has reportedly been inspected, tested and resumed to normal operations.
