Mountain counties will see more snow overnight with a broad footprint of 2-4" possible. Highest elevations will see the higher snow totals, and those areas closest to the TN line.

Outside of the mountains, a few clouds across the Charlotte region (Piedmont), with a loose snow flurry possible in the morning, provided mountain moisture breaks containment. Look for morning lows in the upper 20s.

Temps will remain chilly Wednesday, with upper 40s forecast for the Piedmont, and upper 20s in the mountains.

We'll start warming our temps by Thursday, with mid 60s forecast. Our next best chance for rain appears to set up for late Friday night and early Saturday morning.
