DURHAM, N.C. -- Police in Durham are investigating after two bodies and an SUV were found in Falls Lake Tuesday.

Police say the bodies of Carl Adams, who went missing in December, and an unidentified black female were discovered near the Hickory Hill Boating Access along with a 2017 Toyota 4Runner. 

The female was discovered in the water around 11 a.m. and Adams was found shortly after 3:15 p.m. 

Their causes of death have not yet been released. 

Durham police are still working to positively identify the female.
