CHARLOTTE - Dogs of all shapes and sizes were the honored guests at 'Pet Palooza' in Charlotte Saturday.

The Humane Society of Charlotte hosts the party every year.

It raises money to help care for and adopt out homeless animals and it's a lot of fun.

"This is one of our biggest fundraisers and our largest community event where everyone's invited. We have over a thousand people here, hundreds of dogs. It's a fun time and really cool to see all the different types of dogs and people that are enjoying being around them," said Humane Society of Charlotte President Shelly Moore.

The Humane Society hopes to raise $160,000.
