“The entire concept was to go as far as we could into Christmas,” co-owner of Homer’s Soda Shop said Jamie McGimsey.

“It’s just super kitschy, super Christmasy, over the top,” Homer’s Soda Shop co-owner Courtney Morse said. “Have some fun and keep things a little bit light, silly, and celebratory.”
A festive wrapping for the bar’s typical focus on upscale cocktails, pairing with flavor-filled street food.
Forget milk and cookies. At Homer’s Soda Shop, order the oysters. Traveling faster to a plate than Santa to a Chimney, these oysters are less than 24 hours out of the Chesapeake Bay.
“They were harvested that morning. And they were harvested by the same guy that was harvesting them for the last 45 years,” McGimsey said.
Matching with the standard drink of choice, The Penicillin. “[It] brings people into scotch who might not normally be attracted to it,” Morse said.
