PINEVILLE, N.C. – Pet companionship is a special gift, but some families can struggle with the cost to keep their furry family members healthy.

  • Stand For Animals is a charity that provides low-cost pet care
  • The clinic’s three locations have cared for 100,000 patients
  • It has special deals for spay and neuter procedures

A local veterinary clinic is making sure anyone with a pet can afford pet health care.

Stand For Animals Veterinary Clinic is charity that provides low-cost pet care in the Charlotte area.

“And you know, it brings a lot of grace to us, as the folks who are doing the work. Because we realize that people are making sacrifices to care for this beloved dog or cat,” Stand For Animals Executive Director Cary Bernstein said.

The clinic’s three locations have seen more than 100,000 patients, whose owners sometimes spend weeks saving so their pets can afford medical care.

The clinic also has special deals to help pay for spay and neuter procedures.
