SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — The Altamonte Springs Police Department confirmed a newborn was found safe after a search on Monday. The department was searching for a missing newborn out of Altamonte Springs, along with two adults, who officials say may have been traveling with the child.

The police department said they were attempting a well-being check of the newborn after she was seen leaving the hospital with her mom. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement also issued a missing child alert.

During the search, investigators believed the baby was traveling with her mother Latraka Fairley, 28, and suspected-father Timothy Tyson, 41.

Tyson has a burn on his right hand and several tattoos, including the letters “BJ” on his arm. He also has a tattoo of the world and a man with two guns on his back.

Law enforcement says they may be traveling in a 2011 blue Range Rover sport with a temporary paper Florida tag: DWD-1112.

They also believe the pair may travel to north Florida to Bradford County or Clay County.

The Florida Department of Children and Families also received notification and is working with law enforcement on the investigation.
