SAN MARCOS – Two men have been arrested accused of burglarizing Best Buy stores in New Braunfels and San Marcos.

On March 4 around 5:29 a.m. San Marcos police were called to the 1050 block of McKinney Place Drive after a security alarm went off.

As the officers approached the store, they witnessed a vehicle speeding away from the scene. Officers followed the vehicle as it ran a red light at Wonder World Drive.

As the driver merged onto Interstate 35, police conducted a traffic stop and pulled the vehicle over.

The occupants of the vehicle, 24-year-old Trevon Deonte Marquis Relford and 18-year-old Kenneth Kenvon Deloch, were arrested.

Investigators found the men in possession of electronic with the security webbing still attached. Additionally, police discovered multiple phones and tablets with the display security cords cut.

Both Relford and Deloch have been charged with burglary of a building.

A New Braunfels Best Buy store notified San Marcos police that the suspects matched a burglary at their store too.
