Dozens of Staten Islanders get behind the wheel of a popular bike-share program. Citi-Bike's pop up rental series rolled through the borough Sunday at Fort Wadsworth.
Visitors took bicycles out for a spin while sightseeing around the National Recreation Area. The free event allows residents to experience the popular program close to home.
Gateway National Recreation Area's Unit Manager for Staten Island, Brian Feeney says, "it's great outdoor exercise and you get to literally see more of the park I mean the National Park has hundreds of acres here on Staten Island. It's a great way to get around."
Citi-Bike will bring the program to Snug Harbor Cultural Center this Thursday, from 5:30 to 7:30 P-M.
