CUMBERLAND COUNTY -- The sheriff's department has charged a woman with animal cruelty after finding dead and malnourished cats in her mobile home on Monday.
Lee Ann Cain is facing 3 counts of animal cruelty. Authorities say the trailer where the cats were located was in such a bad state that they had to wear protective clothing when they tried to go inside.
Spectrum News reporter David Ivey tells us about how two felines that were found alive in the trailer on doing as they are being cared for now at the county's animal control shelter.
