MELBOURNE, Australia — Victoria police say three central Texans have died in a plane crash near Melbourne, Australia, Tuesday morning.
The New York Daily News reports Greg DeHaven, of Spicewood, and Russell Munsch and Glenn Garland, of Austin, were all killed.
They were on board the charter flight when it crashed into a shopping center.
The friends were on a charter flight to an island to play golf.
DeHaven was a retired FBI agent and U.S. Army veteran and is survived by his wife, three children and six grandchildren.
His sister, Denelle Wicht, posted this picture on Facebook of her brother, saying he was on a "once in a lifetime" trip to Australia.
Munsch was a bankruptcy lawyer and a founding partner of the Munsch Hardt firm in Austin.
Garland was a former CEO at Green Energy firm CLEAResult Consulting Incorporated.
The pilot was also killed in the crash.
A fourth passenger was on the plane but their identity is unknown.
