A man was sentenced Tuesday to 115 years behind bars for raping an elderly woman in Brooklyn in 2015.
Police say 20-year-old Asa Robert broke into an 82-year-old woman's Brighton Beach home while she took out the garbage.
Robert then assaulted her, demanded money and held her at knifepoint for hours once she came back inside.
He eventually ran off with a bag of her personal belongings and was found by police at a home in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
The man was convicted of rape, sexual abuse, assault and other charges last month.
Robert has eight prior arrests including one for robbery in 2014.
