SAN ANTONIO - Every year, local ceramic artisans gather to showcase a wide variety of one-of-a-kind handmade creations.

On Saturday, locals and visitors did a little holiday shopping at the San Antonio Clay Arts Festival.

More than 35 clay and glass artists displayed their work for sale at the Pearl - everything from bowls and cups to decorative sculptures that are perfect for that unique holiday gift.

“Every single thing you see is made on the wheel, or by hand. Everything. There’s no machinery involved. None,” said Leslie Newton, of the San Antonio Potters Guild.

Select items on sale also helped raise money for the San Antonio Potters Guild Scholarship Fund.
