Schumer Trying to Protect Windstream Jobs in Rochester After Proposed Merger

ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- The spotlight is on nearly 1,000 jobs in the Rochester area following the news that Windstream has proposed merging and acquiring EarthLink.

United States Sen. Charles Schumer reached out to Windstream, urging the company to protect jobs in the Rochester area.

Schumer wants Windstream to continue looking for ways to grow the company in Rochester and ensure a bright future for local workers.
