SABINSVILLE, Penn. -- Hundreds of workers will return to their jobs at Dominion Transmission after being locked out of work.
An agreement was reached Wednesday, following months of failed contract negotiations.
A company spokesperson says the new agreement will help prevent a walkout this winter until a new labor contract is reached.
The union agreed to not strike at Dominion Transmission and Dominion Hope at least through April 1st.
In exchange, the company has agreed to bring the union members back and not lock them out during that time.
The workers will return to work this Saturday.
Contract talks are scheduled to pick up early next month.
