SAN ANTONIO — Police said an attempted drug deal that started on Snapchat left one teenager dead and two others with gunshot wounds.
The three teen boys first spoke to a drug dealer through the social media app, and then met him in person late Sunday, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
Officers said the man then tried to rob the teens and ultimately shot all three of them.
The gunman and teens were in separate cars when the attempted robbery took place, according to police.
Police said the teens also had a weapon in their car.
After the shooting, the gunman tried to take off, but crashed into another car.
He then ran from the area on foot, but police said they believe they know his identity.
