People who use the Goethals Bridge very early in the morning should prepare for delays starting Wednesday.
The Port Authority says it'll institute traffic holds in both directions from 4:30 a.m. to 5 a.m., 3 days a week over the next year.
Officials say the holds are needed to allow for the safe transfer of concrete girders as part of the bridge's replacement project.
