HENRIETTA, N.Y. -- Monroe County Sheriff's deputies arrested three teenagers in connection with a string of car break-ins in Henrietta this week
Karl Jones, 18, and Christopher Rue, 19, face charges for criminal possession of stolen property and unauthorized use of a vehicle. A third suspect is also charged. He is a minor and his name is being withheld.
The sheriff's office says the arrests stem from the break-in of several vehicles in three Henrietta neighborhoods. They include Bennington Hills, Loden Lane and High Manor Drive. Investigators said they took Jones into custody after he was seen running from a parking lot at High Manor Drive.
Police said Rue and the third suspect took off in a stolen vehicle, struck a large rock and then made their getaway on foot. They were later arrested and charged.
