TWC NEWS VIDEO: JAMESTOWN, NY -- The Native Roots Artists Guild from Salamanca opened an art exhibit in Jamestown Friday night at the Reg Lenna's 3rd on 3rd Gallery.
It's called Haudenosaunee Artists: See Our World. The exhibit features Iroquois artwork including paintings, cornhusk dolls, bead work and basket weaving.
"We have a really strong link between Cattaraugus and Chautauqua county artists, I mean it's two very large areas but the arts community is very tight, so we wanted to bring them in and also expand our patrons horizons so to speak," said Len Barry, Reg Lenna Center For The Arts Marketing and Communications Director.
The show is free to the public and runs through mid October.
