TWC NEWS VIDEO:  OLEAN, N.Y. -- Olean city officials cut the ribbon on the newly renovated Bradner Stadium Friday afternoon and kicked off the summer season with the annual Bradner Bash.

The city-owned stadium has seen more than $1 million in renovations made possible through a public-private partnership.  Upgrades include bleachers and a new building that houses bathrooms and concessions. The multi-use facility is home to the Olean Oilers collegiate baseball team and the Olean Diesel semi-pro football team. It's also the venue for high school football, college soccer and community events.

"It's a great place to have right in the middle of the City of Olean and it definitely needed refurbishing and it's really in great shape right now. We only have a few small touches to do, but other than that we are ready to roll," said Brian O'Connell Jr., Olean Local Development Corporation president.

The Oilers' home opener is at 7 p.m. Saturday and will be followed by fireworks.
