It's Teen Tech week at the San Antonio Public Library. Thursday, the library partnered with Best Buy's Geek Squad to offer the Hour of Code.
The free program introduces teens to the basics of computer programming. Participants say they were excited to learn how games are made.
"This is a way for them to maybe explore a topic that they have not had experience with in the past and see if they like it.
See if they want to become experts in it and maybe choose careers in it,” Jennifer Velasquez of SAPL said.
San Antonio joins libraries in ten other U.S. cities offering the hands-on training.
