John Kasich is heading back to Central New York and the Capital Region on Monday.
He's scheduled for an event in Syracuse first, then he's holding a town hall event in Schenectady.
The Ohio Governor will speak at a town hall event at the Solvay Youth Center at 11:30 a.m. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. The event is free to attend.
This isn't Kasich's first trip to the area. He has already visited Syracuse, Utica, and Watertown within the past few weeks.
The Schenectady event is at 6 p.m. Monday at the Schenectady Armory. Doors will open at 5 p.m.
Last week, he met with lawmakers in Albany, then held a town hall at the La Salle institute.
He answered questions on issues like health care costs, minimum wage and his opponents.
Sunday morning, he was on CNN's State of the Union, where he addressed the controversy over recently-passed religious liberty laws, which some argue are discriminatory.
"There is a legitimate concern for people being able to have their deeply held religious beliefs, religious liberty," Kasich said. "But there's also people who we shouldn't be discriminating against. We need to have a balance. We need to strike a balance. And I just wish that everybody would just take a breath and calm down because you see, trying to figure out how to legislate that balance is complicated."
Kasich didn't hold any formal events this weekend, but he did speak at a synagogue in Long Island yesterday.
The third Republican in the campaign, Ted Cruz, did not have any campaign events this weekend, but did pick up the 14 remaining Wyoming delegates in that state's republican convention.
Cruz is second in the delegate count behind Trump.
