Kristin Walls is a morning meteorologist with Spectrum News, forecasting for St. Louis.

Kristin grew up in the small town of McDonald, Ohio and received a degree in Geography and Climatology from Kent State University. She went on to earn a Masters of Atmospheric Science from the Ohio State University. While studying at Ohio State, Kristin had the opportunity to research glacier changes in Peru.

From 2011 to 2016, Kristin worked as a meteorologist in Kentucky building on her passion for keeping viewers safe during severe weather. In March 2012 she was on air for eight straight hours covering multiple tornadoes that impacted the communities of Kentucky and Indiana. Covering the storms was an extremely meaningful time to serve and connect with her community.

Kristin then went on to work as the chief meteorologist and morning co-host at KVEW/KAPP in Kennewick, Washington before joining the Spectrum News team.

In her free time, she loves to run, do CrossFit, meet new people, and spend time with her husband and their two fur babies.
