An approaching front will introduce enough moisture to trigger a few showers and thunderstorms on Tuesday, but coverage will be spotty; the east coast sea breeze will also enhance the rain chance for the eastern side of the peninsula. Otherwise, skies will be partly sunny as highs peak in the low to mid-80s.

We'll be back to sunshine and mid-80s on Wednesday as a reinforcing shot of drier air slides in from the north. There won't be much of a cool-down with this system however, with highs staying close to 80 for the balance of the week.
