Another very warm and dry day is in store courtesy of high pressure anchored over the western Atlantic supplying us with a very stable environment that is lacking any meaningful moisture. Skies will be mostly sunny as highs peak in the upper 80s; easterly winds will keep coastal spots a little cooler, in the low 80s.

The heat will build over the weekend with highs pushing into the low 90s both Saturday and Sunday, both days featuring ample sunshine. While Sunday could bring a very stray afternoon shower, we don't see any significant drought relief coming for at least another week based on the extended forecast.

Highs: Upper 80s

Lows: Mid-60s
