LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Interstate 65 is back open but the ramps are still closed.
The ramps from I-65 South to I-64 East to I-71 North remaind closed after a semi accident just past the Kennedy Bridge this morning. Louisville Metro Police say the semi jack-knifed and part of the cab came to rest on the side of the retaining wall, spilling diesel fuel on the road.
Police say the fuel and debris also fell to the ramps below, I-65 to I-64 West and I-71 North, which are closed.
The driver is not hurt. Police expect the road to be closed for several hours for clean up.
This is a developing story. We will add more details when they become available.
