After a week of nightly curfew in downtown Los Angeles, Mayor Karen Bass lifted the curfew after protests and unrest over immigration raids subsided. The move comes after the LAPD reported making 575 arrests from June 7 through June 16.

LA County District Attorney Nathan Hochman also announced the latest round of criminal charges in connection with those protests. He joined “Inside the Issues” host Amrit Singh to talk about that and more of what we’ve seen.

Then, Mark Barabak, political columnist for the LA Times, joins the show to discuss the cultural impact of the protests and the feud between President Trump and California Gov. Gavin Newsom over their responses to the protests.
