A man is charged in the death of a woman whose body was discovered in a Brooklyn park.
Cory Martin is facing a murder-for-hire charge.
He was previously charged with conspiracy in a scheme with another woman to take out two life insurance policies in Brandy Odom's name, and cash them out.
Police said Odom, 26, was murdered and her body parts were found scattered in Canarsie Park in 2018. Her remains were discovered on April 9, 2020.
If convicted, Martin could face life in prison or possibly the death penalty.
