State Senator Ralph Alvarado (KY-28) enjoys the camaraderie he has with his colleagues on both sides of the aisle. He considers legislating to be "a team sport" and wishes more people knew about the frequent bipartisanship in the state government.
During his Know Your Electeds interview, Alvarado shared several of his biggest legislative priorities, including modernizing assisted living facilities, improving Medicaid and tort reform.
Alvarado's first job was as a proof operator for Bank of America. His favorite movie is "Trading Places."
