LOS ANGELES – The third-seeded Los Angeles Sparks will host the Seattle Storm in the second round of the WNBA Playoffs on Sunday at noon.

This marks the 19th year in franchise history that the Sparks will make an appearance in the post season. The team is on the hunt for a fourth championship banner to hang in Staples Center.

General Manager Penny Toler is finishing her 20th season calling the shots.

Toler is the winningest and longest tenured GM in the league. She was drafted by the Sparks in 1997.

In 1999, then owner Jerry Buss hired her as the team's GM, making Toler the fastest person ever to make the transition from player to General Manager.

The last time the Sparks won it all was in 2016, which was the third title to compliment the back-to-back championships won by the team in 2001 and 2002.
