It’s been a big week for President Donald Trump’s economic agenda. The tax and spending package he calls the “Big Beautiful Bill” is now with the Senate after passing out of the House last week.

This week, legal confusion is causing uncertainty over Trump’s tariffs. Wednesday, a federal trade court said the so-called Liberation Day tariffs were unconstitutional, before a federal appeals court ruled the tariffs are okay for now.
