We've reached the last day of our unusually warm weather as a cold front is poised to arrive late tonight. Sunshine is expected throughout the morning, but clouds will be moving in late today. A cold front will move into the state tonight with widespread showers. Much of the rain will fall while many of us are sleeping. Showers will move out early Wednesday. After reaching back into the 70s today, temperatures will tumble through the 60s tomorrow and hold in the 50s on Wednesday.

For the first time since the pandemic began, Ohio's current COVID-19 hospitalizations are higher than 2,500. Doctors say hospitals statewide are heading toward max capacity, and say if the trends continue, some non-coronavirus procedures could be put on pause.
