They open their hearts and homes to children during a very difficult time, but in Ohio there just aren’t enough foster parents to them all. It could soon be a lot easier for people to become caregivers in the state, thanks to legislation aimed at making the process for flexible. Ohio Representative Susan Manchester says House Bill 8, Foster Caregiver Training, has been years in the making. The bipartisan bill will revise requirements so potential foster parents will be approved more effectively.
