Holly Springs, N.C. -- Tony Wilson has led quite a life, emulating the lives of others and he's just as happy performing now as the day he first started taking to the stage as James Brown.

The legend in the business started performing as the Godfather of Soul back in 1984 with the James Brown Band, and was given the stage name, Young James Brown by singer himself.

And this weekend, he and other performers are celebrating Brown's life and legacy ten years after his death; this while also celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the historical Holly Springs Cultural Center.

On Saturday, December 10th at 7 p.m., Young James Brown and company are taking the stage at 7 p.m. for the celebration.  The Godfather of Soul Band is comprised of musicians who backed James Brown’s musical career from 1984 to 2006.  You can also catch him one on one from 5:30pm to 6:30pm with his long time bassist, Jimmy Moore.
